NAPNES PHARMACOLOGY*Principles of Pharmacology & Medication Administration

*This course is open to anyone, however, you must have an active LVN or LPN license and be in good standing in order for a certificate to be issued by NAPNES. After enrolling, you will be asked to provide your LVN or LPN license number.

Who is NAPNES?

The NAPNES Certification in Pharmacology (NCP)

This certification program introduces LPNs/LVNs to the principles of pharmacology and medication administration. Drug classifications, medication assessment, procedures for administration, and dosage calculations of medications including a comprehensive review of mathematics used in nursing are covered.

The NAPNES Certification in Pharmacology (NCP) has been helping LPNs/LVNs be successful for 30+ years!

The NCP allows LPNs/LVNs to measure their pharmacology knowledge through successful exam completion.  NAPNES offers this national, post-licensure credential that many employers require as it shows dedication to safe medication administration practices. Medical math and dosages/calculations are an integral component of this certification program.
